The First Church of Wicca offers several classes in Wiccan studies as well as
Metaphysical studies. All of our classes are currently available through
correspondence learning with direct mentorship from the Rev. Dr. Kendra Vaughan
Hovey. We are continually adding to our curriculum, so visit us frequently for
updates.
Dedication Requirements
To become Dedicated to the First Church of Wicca, advance to Initiation or
Elevation Studies or to continue with Seminary Studies, you will need to complete
the Dedication Requirements after become a Full Member or an Associate Long
Distance Member of the church. (Please see the Membership page of the website
for application requirements.)
DEGREE Requirements for the First Church of Wicca:
First Degree Initiate Requirements
Dedicants will need to take classes from our MAIDEN TRACK which are
intermediate classes. These classes are only offered to Members and Long
Distance Associate Members of the First Church of Wicca who have already been
dedicated to the church.
Second Degree Elevation Requirements
First Degree Initiates will need to take classes from our MOTHER TRACK which are
advanced classes. These classes will help the First Degree Initiate meet the
requirements for their Second Degree Initiation.
Third Degree Elevation Requirements
Second Degree Elevation students will need to take classes from our CRONE
TRACK which are advanced classes. These classes will help the First Degree
Initiate meet the requirements for their Second Degree Elevation.
***If the Third Degree Elevation student does not wish to become Ordained Clergy,
he or she may continue their studies and earn Masters or Mistress of Arts Degrees
in several fields of study.***
ORDINATION Requirements for the First Church of Wicca:
Ordination Requirements
Upon completion of your Third Elevation, you will become an Elder of the church
and may continue studies to become Ordained Clergy and serve as a High
Priest/ess affiliated with the First Church of Wicca. Completion of Ordination
requirements does not guarantee ordination. Once the requirements are
completed you may then apply to the First Church of Wicca for your ordination
papers. Upon approval of ordination you may start your own First Church of Wicca
in your area with ongoing help and support from the Elder High Priestess.
